Cooperative development at the Tempelhof Airport
Cooperative development at the Tempelhof Airport: Citizens actively involved in shaping their city
The citizens of Berlin should be actively involved in shaping their city – including at Tempelhof Airport. In order to successfully implement cooperative development projects, the framework conditions must be clarified and communicated transparently. This includes, for example, a shared vision, the time frame, financing, and decision-making structures. Even if these issues are not finalized at the beginning of a cooperation, they should be given priority as the basis for the cooperation.
Two pilot projects for cooperative development
In the course of development, space requirements, space potential, usage requirements, and target groups for the respective locations are then recorded and defined. Our collaborations with Torhaus Berlin e. V. in the old gatehouse on Columbiadamm and the Floating University in the rainwater retention basin are pilot projects for cooperative development at the site and real-world laboratories for cooperation with civil society.
