ACTIVATION OF ADDITIONAL SPACE

The activation and utilization of additional space is always a focus of the Tempelhof Projekt GmbH. Currently, nearly all available (office) space is in continuous use. In order to attract additional tenants, appropriate premises must be made usable.

This is a challenging task, as it involves the renovation of all areas, which are also interlinked: the technical infrastructure as a basis, the renovation of the supporting structure and facades, the necessary removal of hazardous materials, the structural reinforcement of walls, floors, and ceilings, and, last but not least, the interior work and the installation of modern fittings. All of this is being done in compliance with historic preservation regulations and in parallel with ongoing event operations.

New use for historic parts of the building 

The areas now being developed and renovated include the old cargo hall located under the main hall, the old fire station in the west wing, and other areas distributed throughout the building.
