Office Space at Tempelhof Airport: Old Walls, New Ideas
As Europe’s largest listed building, Tempelhof Airport bridges the past and the future. Adjacent to Tempelhofer Feld, this historic building is a popular tourist attraction. At the same time, Tempelhof Airport offers office space: Old walls, new ideas, as well as studios and event spaces with plenty of room for innovative concepts.
Spaces for businesses, projects, and events
A total of 42 companies have established themselves permanently or temporarily in our office spaces at Tempelhof Airport and enjoy the unique working environment, some with sweeping views across Tempelhof Field. Every day, hundreds of people work here, a group as diverse as Berlin itself, including musicians, designers, artists, police officers, and civil engineers.
Space Needs Meet Heritage Conservation: Renovation in Phases
Of the total area of approximately 300,000 m², only about 27 percent is currently usable, as the more than 80-year-old building is in poor condition. Extensive renovations are necessary to ensure that the entire site can be leased in the future. We are working continuously toward this goal.
All spaces currently available for use are leased. To ensure transparency and equal opportunity in the leasing process, criteria for allocating the spaces are being developed, and the spaces will be advertised through a transparent concept-based selection process. Information on this will also be available on our website in due course.
Parking Spaces on the Airport Grounds
All parking spaces on the airport grounds are either leased or are generally no longer available, as they have been repurposed for other uses. They are also being used as logistics areas and temporary relocation space as part of renovation measures. Therefore, we ask that you refrain from making inquiries regarding the rental of parking spaces at THF. Should any spaces become available, you will find this information here on our website.
